About Dr. Ugolini

Joanne C. Ugolini, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist certified by the National Register of Health Providers in Psychology, and owner of Rockville Psychological Assessment & Therapy Services, LLC. Formerly, she was clinical director of Westview Psychological Services, LLC, Rockville office. She is an adjunct professor in the doctoral program at her alma mater, Argosy University in Arlington, VA. She trained at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, and at Washington Assessment and Therapy Services, located in the District of Columbia. Dr. Ugolini's special interests and extended training are varied. In the area of assessment her special interests include cognitive skills such as executive functions and attention processing, and educational and developmental issues. She has served on the School Board of Cornerstone Academy of Glenwood, MD, a private school for children with learning differences. In the area of therapy, Dr. Ugolini works with women dealing with a variety of issues.

Dr. Ugolini has lived in the Bethesda-Rockville area since early childhood, and with her husband of more than 35 years has had the privilege of raising five children. She has also lived in Italy and in Senegal.
