About Dr. Ugolini

Joanne C. Ugolini, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist certified by the National Register of Health Providers in Psychology, and owner of Rockville Psychological Assessment & Therapy Services, LLC. She was formerly clinical director of Westview Psychological Services, LLC, Rockville office, and has taught at the doctoral level as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, Argosy University in Arlington, VA. She trained at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, and at Washington Assessment and Therapy Services, located in the District of Columbia. Her special interests and extended training are varied. In the area of assessment her special interests include the Rorschach, attention processing assessment, developmental issues and cognitive testing. She serves on the School Board of Cornerstone Academy of Glenwood, MD, a private school for children with learning differences. In the area of therapy, Dr. Ugolini works mainly with women dealing with a variety of issues. She also has a special interest in the process and impact of forgiveness in relationships, and the influences that an individual’s concept of God has in that person’s life.

Dr. Ugolini has lived in the Bethesda-Rockville area since early childhood, and with her husband of more than 30 years has had the privilege of raising five children. She has also lived in Italy and in Senegal.
